Security Service Federal Credit Union (SSFCU) has been recognized as Contact Center of the Year in the 2014 Professional Teleservices Management Association (PTMA) South Texas Excellence Awards. This is the second year SSFCU has received this award, having previously been recognized in 2001. This year, SSFCU also won awards for Best Use of Technology and Best Use of the Voice of the Customer. In addition, SSFCU’s vice president, Tracy Queeman-Wilson, was recognized as Contact Center Leader of the Year. The annual competition recognizes service excellence and best practices in contact centers throughout South Texas.
Winning four out of five awards, SSFCU was selected through an evaluation process that included a rigorous application followed by on-site visits and presentations before a panel of judges.
"We are so proud of our team and for PTMA’s recognition of their consistent dedication to our members," said Chris Allen, senior vice president. "These awards are a testament to our employee’s hard work and commitment to our vision to become America’s Best Credit Union.” SSFCU's contact center is home to 223 employees in San Antonio and El Paso. Available to help 24/7/365 in both English and Spanish, SSFCU agents handle an average of 243,900 member inquiries a month with a goal of working as a one-stop resolution point of contact.
