Security Service Federal Credit Union officially opened the doors to its newest location in McAllen, Texas, today. The 5,000 sq. ft. facility is located at 7906 N. 10th Street. The new location includes five teller windows, seven member service offices, a night deposit drop box, two drive-up ATMS and six drive-thru lanes. This is the credit union’s 36th Texas location, replacing a smaller location that previously operated in Pharr, Texas.
“Members will enjoy this facility because of its additional member service capabilities that will make conducting business faster and more convenient,” said John Worthington, senior vice president for Security Service. “We are confident that our members will enjoy doing business at this easily accessible location.”
Security Service Federal Credit Union celebrated the opening of its new location with a $3,000 donation to Spaulding for Children in McAllen. The donation will help the local, non-profit organization continue its dedication “to building, sustaining strong, nurturing families for children who have endured abuse, neglect or abandonment.”
Security Service serves more than 5,000 members in the Rio Grande Valley area. Anyone who lives, works, worships or attends school in Hidalgo and Cameron Counties qualifies for membership.
