The Security Service Charitable Foundation has approved a donation of $10,000 to the American Red Cross Northern Colorado Chapter to help their efforts to assist the many families, including Security Service Federal Credit Union members, affected by the devastating wildfires spreading in the state.
"We understand that these wildfires have caused widespread property damage in Northern Colorado," said David Reynolds, Security Service president and CEO. "Several Security Service members have reported homes being lost, and others suffered property damage. Our hearts go out to those affected, and we will do everything we can to assist in this difficult time."
Security Service Federal Credit Union has 19 locations throughout Colorado, with more than 12,000 members in Northern Colorado. Security Service locations in Broomfield, Fort Collins, Greeley, Longmont and Loveland are currently collecting monetary donations to assist those affected by the fires. The credit union is also offering short term, low interest emergency loans for its members affected by the disaster. Those in need of assistance should contact their local Security Service branch.
The Security Service Charitable Foundation helps to further Security Service’s corporate goal of community service by contributing to deserving organizations and causes in the credit union’s market areas.
