COMMUNITY CAMPAIGNS HELP RAISE MORE THAN DONATES $2,500 FOR FURNITURE AT CHILDREN’S HOME
Funds will provide beds and chest of drawers
(EL PASO, TX – MAY 16, 2023) –– The Security Service Charitable Foundation donated $2,500 to Lee and Beulah Moor Children’s Home of El Paso, Texas. This donation will be used to provide new beds and chest of drawers for children staying in the cottages.
“Sometimes children in need of our services don’t have proper beds to sleep in, which in turn affects how much quality sleep they get and how they perform in school,” said Renee Tanner, CEO for Lee and Beulah Moor Children’s Home. “This donation from the Security Service Charitable Foundation ensures that we can provide these children with a better opportunity for a good night’s sleep.”
The Security Service Charitable Foundation’s donation will help cover the costs for new bedroom furniture in the children’s rooms. This includes new chest of drawers and beds to support over 35 children at the home.
“Lee and Beulah Moor Children’s Home provides children with comfortable beds to sleep in along with nutritious meals and a welcoming home environment thanks to incredible childcare workers,” said Marisela Rios, vice president of member service—Mountain Region for Security Service Federal Credit Union. “We are proud to support an organization that is so dedicated to improving the lives of children in their communities.”
