Our military members who are called to duty overseas are allowed to ship their vehicles financed through SSFCU.

Getting permission from SSFCU is easy: just print the
Permission to Ship document, fill out the form, and take it to a member service representative at your nearest service center.

These conditions must be met:
1.) Auto Loan must be current
2.) Any other loan, line of credit, or credit card must be current
3.) Accounts must have a positive balance

Vehicle Insurance
Why pay full coverage insurance for your unused vehicle while deployed? Our military members who store their vehicle(s) while deployed may be given permission to lower their insurance coverage.*

Deployed members who store their vehicles are allowed to drop collision insurance, but must maintain comprehensive insurance with a maximum $1,000 deductible by completing the Comprehensive Only Insurance Form.

This service is provided to our military members only.

* The loan must be current. Any other SSFCU loan, line of credit, or credit card. SSFCU accounts must have a positive balance.
