To join the club, you have to qualify for Security Service membership, be 13 to 17 years of age, and have valid state or military identification. If you meet these requirements, join the club by opening an FYI Savings Account.

Club Benefits

  • No membership dues
  • Free CompuBranch Online Banking at www.ssfcu.org
  • Great program activities and workshops
  • Prizes of increasing value for reaching savings goals
  • Web page exclusively for young adults with scholarship information, financial advice, and more
  • Bi-annual newsletter

Rewards Program

By building up your FYI Savings Account balance, you can earn prizes.

When your savings balance reaches $500, $1,000, or $1,500, you can choose from a great selection of items listed in the FYI Newsletter sent upon account opening or online.

The bi-annual FYI newsletter will remind you to check your balance to see if you're eligible for a prize. If so, just check off what you want on the list and send it back to us. You get your FREE stuff in the mail. The more you save, the better the prizes get.

Other Features

With a parent or legal guardian signer, teens can apply for a checking account, credit card, or loan.

While the teen will be able to use these products to learn how to maintain their money, the parent or guardian will be legally responsible for the accounts.
